As the New Year begins, the team at Cape Yachts look forward to new challenges and opportunities for the coming year. In 2019, we put together a banner year that exceeded every expectation. Through our commitment to the community, extraordinary attention to customer satisfaction and teamwork, the Cape Yachts professionals enjoyed a highly rewarding year. With the arrival of 2020, it's a perfect time to reflect on those accomplishments.

## Highlights of 2019 

### And What a Year it Was

Our success begins with a love for what we do. Each member of the Cape Yachts Team has a real passion for the boating lifestyle. We understand why our customers come to us, and we do everything we can to help them realize their dream. 

### As we look back at the year, we celebrate some of our accomplishments in 2019: 

### **7 - Summer Concerts**

It’s not all work and no play at Cape Yachts at South Wharf. South Wharf located in historic Padanaram Village in South Dartmouth, is also home to our marina where boat lovers flock each season not only for our beautiful marina, but for fun and live entertainment. This year we held seven [Brews & Tunes](https://www.southwharf.com/our-village/south-wharf-events)summer concert events and raised more than $1600 for local charities. Please be sure to join us for this annual event again in 2020. We’re sure to have more great bands, great brews and great times. 

### **6 - Boat Shows**

We participated in six notable Boat Shows, including the 49th Annual Newport International Boat Show in September. We love the opportunity to present our products, meet face-to-face with prospective and past customers while staying current with the latest developments in the industry. Join us in Boston in February for the [New England Boat Show](https://www.newenglandboatshow.com/). We’ll be available to show you the latest boats and answer all your boating questions. 

### **4 - Seminars**

We enjoy sharing our knowledge and talking with clients about the various elements of boating. Our seminars are designed to provide operational and safe boating techniques and explore many of the latest innovations and technologies.

Three members of our team were recipients of Beneteau’s Top Gun Awards in 2019. This is a great honor and we are thankful to [Beneteau](https://www.beneteau.com/us) for showing their appreciation. 

### **2 - New Boat Lines**

Cape Yachts added two new, innovative boat lines to our portfolio during the year. Stay tuned to learn more about this in 2020.. 

### **1 - Best US Harbor Award**

In May, Padanaram Village and Cape Yacht’s at South Wharf received the prestigious [Best ](https://www.usharbors.com/2019/05/us-harbors-team-visits-best-harbor-2019/)[US ](https://www.usharbors.com/2019/05/us-harbors-team-visits-best-harbor-2019/)[Harbor Award](https://www.usharbors.com/2019/05/us-harbors-team-visits-best-harbor-2019/) from U.S. Harbors. Voted number one out of 1300 harbors nationwide, it shows why our harbor is one of the best-kept secrets to boaters in the area.

### **1 - Elite Fleet Award**

South Wharf Yacht Yard & Marina received the [Boaters’ Choice 2019 Elite Fleet Award](https://marinas.com/view/marina/2gcyp8_South_Wharf_South_Dartmouth_MA_United_States) recognizing marinas that consistently provided an excellent home for the boating community throughout the year. If you haven't been to our marina, you don't know what you're missing, but our boaters do!

### **1 - Best in Digital Marketing Award**

Spreading the word about our award-winning company, our highest quality products, vast inventory, and exceptional customer service are what our marketing is all about. We are proud of our efforts in raising our company’s presence in the marketplace.

### **86 - Boats Sold **

While all of our awards and recognitions are important for projecting our image as a high-quality, conscientious seller, broker and service provider, our customers are at the core of our initiatives and we truly appreciate their support in all we do.

2019 has indeed been another terrific year for Cape Yachts as we prepare to extend our success into a new decade. We look forward to working with you in the year ahead. Here's to a great 2020 for us all.
