Purchasing during the winter months gives owners the opportunity to prepare their yacht before the season begins. Electronics upgrades, custom installations, canvas work, outfitting, and commissioning can all be completed before spring launch, allowing you to maximize every day of the boating season.

For Cape Yachts owners, this process is even easier through our partnership with South Wharf Yacht Yard & Marina. While your yacht is in winter storage, the South Wharf team can perform upgrades, maintenance, and commissioning work so your boat is ready when warmer weather arrives.

Rather than spending valuable boating days waiting for service appointments in May and June, you'll be positioned to launch fully prepared and ready to cruise.

## How Much Does Winter Storage Cost in Massachusetts?

Winter storage costs vary throughout Massachusetts depending on vessel size, storage type, and location. Indoor heated storage typically commands a premium due to limited availability and climate-controlled conditions.

Cape Yachts offers a unique advantage to new boat buyers:

- Purchase a new yacht before December 31 and receive complimentary outdoor winter storage for that winter season.
- Purchase a yacht on or after January 1 and receive complimentary outdoor storage for the remainder of that winter, plus the following winter season.
- Indoor storage upgrades are available for owners seeking additional protection and convenience.

This program helps reduce ownership costs while ensuring your yacht is professionally cared for during the off-season.

## Can I Finance a New Yacht?

Yes.

Yacht financing remains one of the most popular ways to purchase a new boat. Marine lenders routinely offer financing terms designed specifically for recreational boat ownership, often with repayment periods significantly longer than traditional consumer loans. 

Through October 28, qualifying Beneteau and Wellcraft models are eligible for the current 4x4 promotion, featuring 4.0% APR financing for four years.

For most New England boaters, the primary season runs from June through September.
