Boat-of-the-Year-2019New boat models come along all the time. Some offer modest improvements while occasionally, a new one will present an acknowledged breakthrough of innovation and style.

The new SOLACE 345 has earned Boating Magazine’s prestigious 2019 Boat of the Year Award. In the world of the judges, this new entry into the boating world can be classified as a “category killer,” one that raises the bar in recreational powerboating.

Cape Yachts, headquartered in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, has recently added SOLACE to its already broad portfolio of high-quality sport, cruising, and yachting boat manufacturers.

What Makes the Solace 345 Superior?

In the first place, the Solace 345’s unique design features a center console with additional space that extends the cockpit aft between the two widely spaced dual outboard motors. You might expect to see modified versions of this creative feature pop in other manufacturers’ future designs.

This 34-foot initial entry by SOLACE features an innovative design that embraces superior functionality both inside and out along with stunning beauty and comfort. Squeezing out some additional room on the deck and offering multiple hi-tech features, the 345 still maintains a beautifully sleek exterior profile. The designers and builders clearly emphasize high-quality fit and finish for maximum comfort and convenience belowdecks.
